FAQs

What is the Axis fallback IP with no DHCP?

AXIS OS 11.11 and earlier use 192.168.0.90/24. AXIS OS 12.0 and later take a link-local address from 169.254.0.0/16. (S1)

How long do you hold the Axis control button?

On the AXIS P3265-LVE, 15 to 30 seconds while reconnecting power, until the status LED flashes amber. Check the hold time in your model's user manual. (S2)

What is the default Axis password?

There is none. The device has no default account, so you create the administrator account on the first login. If that password is lost, reset the device. (S2)
